You’re Wealthier than You Realize

One Insight from me

The other day, I had an eye-opening realization: There’s only a single letter that sets Wealth and Health apart. That’s got to mean something significant.

As we step into this new year, I encourage you to delve deeper into these words.

Usually, wealth is linked to external things – luxurious cars, beautiful homes, hefty savings or investments, and the freedom to buy what you desire or travel wherever you please.

But what if wealth isn’t vastly different from health?

What if, like health, the source of wealth is within us?

Perhaps it’s about valuing what’s already present rather than accumulating what we believe we lack, or it’s more about genuinely caring for, appreciating, and nurturing the source of wealth/health that’s already inside.

One Quote from Another

True wealth is having your health and knowledge of self.

Benjamin Franklin

One Question to Ponder

Henry David Thoreau, the American philosopher, offers a unique take on wealth, stating that “Wealth is the ability to fully experience life.”

It’s a thought-provoking departure from societal norms that often tether wealth to material possessions. Our perception of wealth is indeed molded by societal conditioning, but its essence lies in what holds the most value to us individually.

So, I invite you to ponder: What does wealth genuinely mean for you?

Having the answer that feels right to you might just redefine your outlook and offer a different way of counting your blessings (a.k.a wealth).
